We are conveniently located in the heart of downtown Oswego, Illinois.

Metrou & Associates, P.C. was established in 1996 in Aurora, Illinois. Since moving to Oswego, Kendall County, Illinois in 2005, the firm has grown and is now merged into Metrou & Nemiroff, P.C.  We provide legal services to clients in the following communities: Oswego, St. Charles, Geneva, Sugar Grove, Elgin, Yorkville, Aurora, Montgomery, Lombard, Downers Grove, and Wheaton. We also provide legal services to Kendall, Kane, Will, DuPage, DeKalb, Grundy, and LaSalle counties.

PETER N. METROU
 

Attorney at Law


Peter graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree and went on to graduate from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He began his law career as an accomplished trial attorney in Aurora.  He now practices law out of Oswego, Kendall County Illinois and his primary practice focus is on real estate law, bankruptcy, and personal injury. He is a member of the Kane and Kendall  County Bar Associations, and is an active member in the local Oswego community.

 

Peter serves as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee Panel Member for the United States Trustee’s Office in Chicago, Department of Justice. 
 

Peter is admitted to practice in Illinois and in federal court in the Northern District of Illinois.


Peter was born and raised in Aurora, Illinois by his parents, both Greek immigrants. Peter also speaks fluent Greek. Family plays an essential role in his everyday life. He enjoys spending time with his three children and his wife Christine.  
 

MEGHAN N. NEMIROFF
 

Attorney at Law


Meghan graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Science degree and went on to graduate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She worked in class action securities  in Wisconsin prior to moving to Illinois. Her practice now focuses on real estate law, bankruptcy, and estate planning. She is an active member of the Oswego Chamber of Commerce. 


Meghan is admitted to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin (voluntarily inactive) and the Northern District of Illinois. 


Meghan was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to Illinois in 2012 to be with her husband, Jake. She enjoys spending time with Jake, son Remington, and their two Dachshunds. She is an avid book worm and loves visiting her family in Wisconsin.
